I was born in the USSR. At the age of fifteen I came to New York, where I still live, to pursue the American dream.
It took ten years of soulless Wall St. existence for me to realize that the dream sucks. I said goodbye to all that and found my passion in writing about fashion and culture.
I have contributed numerous articles to Business of Fashion, Vogue Russia, Buro247.com, A Shaded View on Fashion, Hint Magazine, Them magazine in Japan, and the Haaretz Daily Newspaper in Israel. These include profiles, interviews, op-eds, as well as exhibition and book reviews. I have taught criticism and fashion writing at Parsons The New School for Design and have participated in fashion conferences around the world.
